Welcome and thank you for visiting my class homepage!

The 2023-2024 school year is upon us!  I am very excited about meeting my new learning family and getting started!!  This year I will place great emphasis on providing a robust learning experience for all students, along with consistent social/emotional support and structure.

Students will be encouraged to work hard each day in order to boost their confidence as well as overall achievement.  As 21st century learners, they will put the Common Core skills of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, and information/technology literacy to use each day in various ways.

Preparation for middle school is of great importance, as is having a positive learning environment that values kindness and respect towards others.  In 6th grade, learning is fun and the memories made will last a lifetime!

I know how busy our schedules get during the school year, so I will update the links to the left with information and resources.  Be sure to check the class calendar regularly, as I will be posting quiz/test dates and other deadlines.  I will also email families every week with general information to keep you in the loop and to help with your scheduling at home.  I hope you will find these tools to be useful!

Thank you in advance for the guidance, encouragement, and support you provide at home.  A strong partnership between school and home makes a BIG difference in your child's success.  :)

Always feel welcome to contact me with questions or concerns!
