Welcome to Mountain Avenue PTA!

Welcome Mountain Avenue Families! 

I’ve learned so much about PTA in the past couple of years, and the more I continue to learn, the more appreciative I am about the advocacy goals it prioritizes for all of our students. 

Here at Mountain Ave. Elementary School, we are so lucky to have an active PTA that provides a multitude of experiences for our students. From campus beautification to the annual Variety Show, our students make memories as a direct result of the relationship between the PTA volunteers and the Mountain Ave. faculty and staff. Your membership and donations fuel many student experiences at Mountain Ave. and we are so thankful for our generous community.

There are many ways to get involved with PTA, so make sure you check Ms. Scott’s Thursday update each week to stay in the loop!

Membership FAQ

Can anyone join? 
Yes! An individual membership is open to all those who wish to support our PTA’s efforts. These include teachers and other school staff members; parents, children, grandparents, and other extended family; neighbors, coworkers, friends, and other community members.

Can my student join PTA? 
Yes! In fact, it's encouraged to have students join. 

I joined last year. Do I need to join again this year?  
Yes, membership must be renewed annually.

I joined another school's PTA. Do I still need to join this PTA? 
Yes, if you wish to support our Mountain Avenue PTA. Each school has its own PTA (i.e., unit) who oversees the use of its own funds.
